An overhead pergola adds a nice touch to this “mahogany” tongue and groove GeoDeck deck. We installed composite railings with metal balusters and wrapped everything in vinyl to make sure Mr. Cole spends more time enjoying his deck than maintaining it.

This vinyl pergola provides shade as well as aesthetic good looks. Notice how the base is “built out” to accommodate the bottom of the column. This is done so that the railing will hit the middle of the column.

These tapered (8″ to 10″) vinyl columns are structural (they support weight) and add a beautiful architectural look to this deck.
